Born and raised in Southern California, as

a first generation Iranian-American,

I majored in photography before

redirecting my focus to fashion and

later pursuing a career as a costume

designer for film and television. 

 

While traveling the world, I have taken the

opportunity to return to my first love and

capture the essence of countless cultures.

Often seeing beyond the blinding poverty,

to bring to life the beauty within the

darkness, I hope that my work moves and

inspires others to travel and search the

world for it’s hidden splendor.

 

My background in fashion combined with

my deep love for photography results in

images with vibrant textures, colors and

energy. Whether I am shooting fashion,

landscape or people, I love to bring out

and highlight the beauty, energy & life

in everything I capture.
